Emrhys Cooper beats tough competition to win multiple Broadway World Awards

2012 has just begun and is already filled with success for Brit actor Emrhys Cooper. His character Richard was just introduced to the hit ABC show Desperate Housewives, playing the title role in Entertaining Mr. Sloane lead Emrhys to win Broadway Worlds ‘Best Play’ accolade, his co-star Olivia D’abo ‘Best Leading Actress in a Play’ and Emrhys the prestigious Broadway Worlds award for ‘Person to Watch’.  He also has a lifetime show on the way.

Playing the title role of Entertaining Mr. Sloane not only beat off tough competition from amazing actors like Jason Alexandra (Seinfeld) to win the Broadway World Awards, he also garnered the LA Stage Award for ‘Best Leading Actor’. The Broadway World award is purely a public vote, so it is not only industry greats that are taking notice of this talented young man!

Emrhys is a triple threat, he is hot off the heels of a sold out New Years Eve show at The Bellagio, is no stranger to TV with roles in ‘CSI NY’ and ‘Desperate Housewives’ and his film with Tom Arnold Walk A Mile in My Pradas the audience award at Hoboken international film festival.  This talented actor also has graced London’s West End in productions like ‘Fame The Musical’ and ‘Mamma Mia’ with Meryl Streep.

This Brits name is causing a buzz in Hollywood not only with the industry, but with fans as well.  So Emrhys Cooper is indeed an actor to watch out for in 2012 and beyond.
