The new short film festival by Tri-Force at BAFTA London

Screen shot 2013-11-08 at 4.34.10 PMWe featured Holby city star Jimmy Akingbola on Just Celebrity Magazine at the Infiniti summer party in London, now along with actor Fraser Ayres they are going to be holding their 2nd Annual short film festival at BAFTA in London.  Tri-Force was the brain child of these two amazing actors and the company has gone from strength to strength.   They have a strong hold of 20,000 members.  The Tri-Force film festival is now in it’s 2nd year and another way they can encourage fellow actors.

Tri-Force announce their second annual Short Film Festival

The Tri-Force Short Film Festival (TFSFF) began in 2012 with the main objective to present quality short films as well as support, recognise and honour filmmakers creating films under 20 minutes. Providing a free platform for up and coming film makers to showcase their work on the big screen, this festival now has a vast and loyal network of over 20,000 people. Due to the great success of last year, Tri-Force Short film festival has returned for their second year.

This popular festival is taking place on 8th December 2013, at the prestigious British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) in London, where the shortlisted films will be shown to an audience and an invited panel of judges. These judges will then decide the winning films, with the award ceremony taking place during the event. Hugh Quarshie (Holby City, Star Wars) and Paul Bradley (Eastenders, Holby City) were just two of the many well-respected, British Actors that joined the filmmakers at the TFSFF last year, to support the short film industry and connect with film makers and industry professionals. Last year’s TFSFF winner was ‘First Contact’ directed by Sami Abusamra.

TriForce Promotions began life in 2005 as the vision of two actors; Jimmy Akingbola and Fraser Ayres. The company has gone from humble beginnings to becoming the leading Networking organisation of the entertainment industry, based around a philosophy of inclusivity. The TriForce network now has over 20,000 members, spanning all demographics and levels of the media business. The network traverses race, class or position and provides a link to all in the network from the bottom to the top, consisting of casting directors such as Jeremy Zimmerman and Sara Hughes, actors such as Sheridan Smith, Rafe Spall, Eamonn Walker, musicians such as Goldie and Ed Sheeran, executive producers Micheal Jacob, Pete Thornton, (Comedy Central) as well as writers such as Noel Clarke and Brian Dooley.
